Gear - Beyond a Beaten Path

The equipment I use is pretty customized for a lack of better words. I shoot with the new mirrorless Sony a7. I absolutely love this camera. I chose it due to it being compact and lightweight all while boasting a full frame 24 megapixel sensor. It has an electronic first curtain shutter that reduces vibration thus producing  sharper images. Where the customization comes in to play is my use of Canon lenses via a Metabones adaptor. The combination of the a7 and Canon L-glass yields images that are extremely sharp with little to no chromatic aberration.

Since I mainly shoot landscape, the lenses I use the most are my Canon 17-40mm f4.0 and my Canon 24-105 f4.0. Both these are L rated and are some of the sharpest on the market.
